GRAPHIC ARTIST/DIRECTOR OF VISUAL ARTS

Lee Milby is a designer and fine artist at DMA PRODUCTIONS NYC working in a variety of media, who has exhibited work in New York City at Webster Hall, The Townhouse Art Gallery, the Greenpoint Gallery, and has shown work in several exhibitons in Upstate New York.

Lee Milby constantly explores new ways to investigate creative concepts, learning skills in a variety of media to implement in her work. Her experience includes animation, oil paint, stone carving, theatrical mask sculpting, printmaking, moldmaking, prop design/theatrical backdrop painting, programming, t-shirt design, logo design and branding, film management/producing, acting and performance art, installation art, screen-writing, book-binding, digital/traditional illustration, graphic novel illustration, and more.

Technical knowledge includes: (Adobe Creative Suite) Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, FinalCut 7, FlipBook, HTML, CSS, Celtx, Soundtrack

Currently teaches painting to high school students via the Saturday Program at The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art. She trained under artist Joan Lord (who was a student of Helen Van Wyk) learning the Leonardo and Rembrandt schools of painting techniques, and now she enjoys teaching those techniques to others. She also trained under artist Gian Berto Vanni at the Cooper Union, learning several other Old Master painting techniques such as fresco and egg tempera painting.

For two consequtive summers, Lee Milby interned at Grey New York in both the film/production department and art direction department, working on marketting plans for companies such as Canon, Allianz, Febreze, Playtex, Don Julio Tequila, Chapstick, and Red Lobster.

She currently manages the production of the film (working title) "She Looks Delicious" by Director Alan Pahng.
